No, a bay window and a bow window are not the same.
A bay window consists of three or more windows that project outward from the building, typically forming a square or polygonal shape.
A bow window, on the other hand, consists of four or more windows that create a curved or rounded shape when viewed from the outside.
While both types of windows extend beyond the exterior wall and provide additional space and natural light, they differ in their shape and number of windows used.
