With the exception of our entrance door and uPVC window products, we manufacture and fabricate a diverse range of aluminium bifold doors, sliding doors, and windows within our factory.
What is the difference between lift and slide and normal sliding doors?
The main difference between lift and slide doors and normal sliding doors lies in the operating mechanism.
Normal sliding doors operate by sliding horizontally along a track when opened or closed.
Lift and slide doors, on the other hand, are lifted slightly off the track when opened, which allows for effortless movement and better sealing when closed, providing enhanced insulation and a tighter seal against drafts and weather.
